Latest news : Mega Marathon Fundraisers!

CRAIG ATKINS – 3rd April 2017 -The Manchester Marathon

LEE DOLMAN – 23rd April 2017 – The London Marathon

Huge Congratulations to both of these amazing athletes who chose our charity this year for their wonderful achievement.

Craig said “I am feeling very sore today but it was all worth it – what a fantastic experience! The atmosphere at the race was awesome and the comradeship between runners is second to none. I kept thinking about all the people who had sponsored me which kept me going to the finish line, and I’ve decided to send my medal to the EYESeeMe Project”.  Craig has raised just over £1000 – Thank you Craig!

Lee Dolman ran the London Marathon in just three hours and said it was good going until the last few miles and that he was pleased with his time.  Lee is going one step further and also running the Great North run in September and so this will be a double fundraiser for him.  We will announce the final amount once both runs are complete and once again, many thanks Lee and good luck for September.

Every penny raised is truly appreciated and will help change children’s lives for the better X

Our Projects

Team Udon Thani  –  71 children

We are assisting children in Northeast Thailand to go to school and have the opportunity to change their lives of the better.  EYESeeMe are passionate about education and believe it is the only way to help break the poverty cycle and inspire real and lasting change.

Team Udon Thani: Around 40% of our children have HIV, a similar percentage are orphaned, over 20% of our girls are victims of abuse and more than a quarter have been abandoned by their parents. This gives you a decent picture of the children’s starts in life and why education is a real beacon for them – a chance to fulfil a promise they may never have dreamed possible.
